Parolona floor lamp by Gae Aulenti and Piero Castiglioni for Fontana Arte

The Parolona floor lamp, designed by Gae Aulenti and Piero Castiglioni, consists of three different types and processes of glass in a single object: blown, natural and natural crystal. It represents technical integration between craftsmanship and industry. Gae Aulenti created timeless lamps and furnishing elements for Fontana Arte as artistic director in the early ‘80s. Piero Castiglioni dedicated himself almost exclusively to lighting design.
